JEE Main 2013 Eligibility Criteria
Following is the criteria for a candidate to appear in the JEE Main Examination.
- A candidate must have passed the examination of 10 + 2 Class or its equivalent.
- Those who are appearing in 10+2 class in 2013 can also appear in the JEE Main 2013 provisionally.
- A Maximum of three consecutive attempts can be made by a single candidate.
- Those candidates who have passed the +2 examination in the past two years which are 2011 and 2012 or appearing in the +2 exam in 2013 are only eligible to appear in the JEE Main 2013.
- Relevant qualifying examination are:
- Intermediate or Pre University Examination Conducted by recognized Board or University.
- The final Examination of the joint services wing of National Defence Academy. (2 year course)
- The +2 level examination in any recognized board of examination in any state like Central board of Secondary Education, New Delhi etc.
- H.S.C Vocational Examination
- 3 or 4 year diploma recognized at AICTE or Board of Technical Education.
- Any University, Public School or Board examination in India or foreign countries which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities which is equivalent to 10+2 system.
- A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination.
